Peaky Blinders (Netflix)

Oh god, this show is so aggressively British. But in a good way, I promise.

This is the British version of The Sopranos and is a great and easy watch if you love family crime dramas and super British people yelling super British things at each other.

The Indiana Jones Movies (All are on Netflix)

The epitome of adventure movies, these are so damn entertaining and actually hold up very well by today's standards. How can you not appreciate pre-grumpy-old-man Harrison Ford?

Don't watch Kingdom of the Crystal Skull though, please spare yourself.

The Crown (Netflix)

Another gem from our rivals from across the pond. Not aggressively British, but very classically British. A great dramatized look at Queen Elizabeth's reign and while it takes a lot of historical liberties, don't worry, it's all in the name of showbiz babbyyyyyyy.

Sherlock (Netflix)

Okay, I'm almost done with the British shows. But Sherlock is a super clever and witty modern take on Sherlock Holmes with Bernoldovich Cucumber's most iconic performances yet.

Planet Earth Documentaries (Netflix)

Lmao look at this gif, a cheetah spawn camps a gator and the capybara is like, "On god?"

Anyways, this is the best nature documentary series out there and it truly takes your breath away with how beautiful the world is (especially when narrated by Sir David Attenborough). When you're done, watch Blue Planet next.

The Lord of the Rings Trilogy (Netflix for last two, first one you can rent)

HA! Now you fools can't use the "I don't have time to watch them all" excuse. You have nothing but time you quarantined swine. I started the coronavirus in an effort to get everyone to make time for this trilogy and it worked.

I'm sorry I get carried with my favorite trilogy of all time. It's the best. It'll make you laugh, cheer, cry, and everything in between. Just movie magic, man.

The Punisher (Netflix)

Do you like Marvel Superheros but wish they were metal as hell and killed people more? Boy, do I have the show for you. Marvel's The Punisher was a great and super violent take on the morality of what a superhero vigilante could be. Jon Bernthal was born to play this role as he kicks ass and takes names (usually from dead bodies, I mean damn he really goes all out with the killing thing).

Daredevil (Netflix)

Another Marvel Superhero that had an awesome show made for Netflix. Like The Punisher, it's darker than the MCU and has a very cool and more realistic take on vigilantes. Season 2 has him facing the Punisher and they have one of the best moral arguments for superheros I've ever seen.

Evil Genius (Netflix)

One of the weirdest and most intriguing crime documentary series I've seen. It follows a guy who nonchalantly walks into a bank and tries to rob it by saying he has a bomb strapped to his chest. Nobody believes him, but he blows up anyways. The trail goes in so many directions and it's pretty messed up but definitely worth the watch.

Don't Fuck With Cats: Hunting an Internet Killer (Netflix)

Holy shit, this story is absolutely nuts. I'd go as far as to say it's the craziest crime documentary series I've ever seen. Basically a guy is murdering kittens and posting them on the internet and a Facebook group of cat-lovers band together to find him on an international manhunt in an effort to stop him before he does even worse things. I mean this cat-people did some FBI level investigating from their god damn laptop. I was screaming at my television the entire time.

Wild Wild Country (Netflix)

Another wild documentary from Netflix, this is a piece of history that needs to be seen to believed. it follows controversial Indian guru Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh (Osho), his one-time personal assistant Ma Anand Sheela, and their community of followers in the Rajneeshpuram community located in Wasco County, Oregon. It's bonkers, check it out.

The Boys (Amazon Prime)

Speaking of superheros, this show turns that whole concept on its head. In this world, superheros exist, but they are marketed as mega-stars with marketing teams and sponsorships and they're super dicks about it. A bunch of nobodies decide they need to be taught a lesson. It's pretty damn good.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine (Hulu)

This show's cast has probably the most chemistry out of any comedy I've seen. It's just so damn good to watch. I was pretty late to the party in terms of watching it but I recently binged most of it and I've got to say it's one of my favorites now.

This Is Us (Hulu)

If you need a break from comedies or super dark shows and need some optimism in your life while in quarantine, give this show a watch. It's just a tear-jerking, feel-good family drama and has some great moments. It'll put a smile on your face if you're looking for one.

Drake and Josh (Hulu)

When I say this holds up, it holds UP. The powerhouse comedy show of our youth is so easy to watch again. I swear I never realized it was only 3 seasons, I guess that's why I can quote most of the episodes still.

Westworld (HBO)

Season 3 aired its first episode last night and it's back baby. By far one of the more brilliant and very complicated shows ever made, it's essentially a story about robots slowly gaining consciousness and turning on us humans. Get ready to search for explanation videos on YouTube every couple of episodes and go, "ooohhhh yeah, I knew that I think."

Big Little Lies (HBO)

Gentlemen, don't knock this show because it only stars women, I promise it's not Gossip Girl. It's a brilliantly told story about a murder in a small town that flashes back and forth between the before and after of the murder. We see the lives of five women who all somehow are connected to the murder. It has great performances and is told with such great editing and storytelling that you'll binge it in one go.

True Detective (HBO)

Oh my COVID-19, this show has the best standalone season of television ever. Watch the first one, watch the second and third while you're at it. You ain't going anywhere soon.

Silicon Valley (HBO)

Did you like The Social Network but wished it was about a bunch of hilarious computer nerds who have no idea what they're really doing? God this show was such a delight to watch. It's pretty smart in its storytelling and has some of the best young comedians working today.

The Alien Movies (All on HBO)

By far one of the best collection of monster horror ever made, these are just classics. The Xenomorphs are some of the scariest movie monsters ever made, and Ripley is the most bad-ass female protagonist of all time. Binge these, but not alone.

Game of Thrones (HBO)

Let's be honest, you've either lived and died by the throne, or you swore it off out of spite or lack of time. Well, now you have the time and we all may die soon anyways so you might as well lose the spite. Join the rest of society and binge the most talked about show probably ever.
